What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planner position at Randstad?
A large manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Planner to join their New Britain, CT team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, such as raw materials, for the production and procurement teams as well as closely managing production schedules and customer orders to ensure line capacities.
salary: $30 - $34 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High` School
Responsibilities
Manage all division inventory relating to records and tracking of materials
Write production schedules based on customer orders and line capacity
Determine and oversee production and shipment goals
Communicate and coordinate with logistics and procurement departments when inventory levels drop below production needs
Consistently evaluate inventory levels to prevent or identify excess
Utilize schedules developed by management to track sequence and lead times of manufacturing operations
Support the receipt, storage, and transferring of Materials
