- As the Controller of our $30M custom manufacturing plant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations. You will lead a small, dedicated team and report directly to the Corporate Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled financial professional who is eager to take on more responsibilities and contribute to the continued success and growth of our organization.
Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial activities of the manufacturing plant.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
- Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with NetSuite or other ERP systems is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
