responsibilities:
- Drive and maintain a safe working environment, overseeing plant operations for 150 employees
- Monitor and improve production processes to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Plan, organize, and direct all manufacturing activities to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Collaborate with product design to provide insight into how to minimize labor requirements and determine assembly sequence
- Manage and lead a team of production managers
- Plan and organize labor to maximize daily efficiency at the plant level.
- Monitor and report KPI's for production and plant performance
- Work collaboratively with purchasing to ensure raw material availability
- Identify improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, quality, and cost
- B.S. in Engineering or Operations
- At least 10 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Effective leadership and analytical skills
