responsibilities:
- Partner with Design Assurance and R&D teams in the development and verification of Medical Single Use Devices and Medical Capital Equipment.
- Work with cross-functional development teams to assist in product verification, design control deliverables, and risk management within Interventional Cardiology.
- Understand and follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures governing daily activities in the Quality Technician role.
- Independently coordinate Design verification (DV) projects and product testing, collaborating with DA technicians, labs, and other functions.
- Develop, conduct, qualify, and document equipment/fixtures, visual standards, test methods, and data sheets within established procedures and methods.
- Facilitate the use of established test methods and protocols, organize data, verify and report product testing results.
- Assist Engineers with product failure analysis, non-conforming product, or CAPA investigations using procedures and proven processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates good documentation practices and the ability to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma and/or equivalent experience or training.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing medical device environment.
- Independent organization and prioritization of multiple tasks.
- Ability to communicate technical information to engineers and collaborate on issue resolution.
- Autonomy in workload management under limited supervision or in a team environment.
