responsibilities:
- General ledger entries, reconciling accounts, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, financial reporting, journal entries and general analysis
- Reconciling accounts including cash, AR, AP, prepaid expense, fixed assets and inventory
- Income statement, balance sheet and subsidiary ledger to verify reconciliations and flag issues
- Assist with external and internal audit, and fielding questions from operational offices
qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in Accounting or Audit
- CPA is valued, but not required
- Experience working in public accounting [ preferred ] OR
- Experience working in a publicly traded company [preferred ] OR
- Experience working in a large privately held Construction company [ preferred ]
