This Sr Accounting Analyst position will be responsible for complex accounting while learning &/or performing financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning as well as modeling.

responsibilities:
The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate accounting and financial analysis of assigned entities

• Lead month end close
• Maintain account reconciliations
• Support leadership by providing timely and accurate financial analytics, reporting, models and recommendations
• Update and maintain financial models in order to analyze current trends, predict future performance and make fact based recommendations
• Provide insight in the development of dashboards and data analysis
• Prepare reports, presentations and analytics for executives and leadership
• Create, monitor and maintain KPIs
• Ensuring financial results are accurate and adhere to US GAAP
• Continually strive to improve processes and maximize efficiencies
• ?Ad hoc analysis and reporting

 
qualifications:
Requirements:?

• Bachelor's degree in finance? or accounting?
• 3 or more years of relevant accounting experience
• ?CPA preferred?
• ?Strong analytical skills
• ?Proficiency in financial analysis and data manipulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail ?
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting and presentation tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• ??Advanced Excel skills
• Lives in Greater Boston
