responsibilities:
- Assist technical product engineers in advancing both new and established products and/or technologies through our client's product development procedure.
- Create novel products and enhance existing ones within our client's product development framework, utilizing SolidWorks and adhering to our client's design criteria.
- Incorporate design for manufacturing standardization, modularization, and automation, integrating lean principles into the product's design.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure that designs align with current manufacturing processes.
- Develop and oversee bills of materials (BOMs) linked to mechanical designs.
- Sustain professional and technical expertise by participating in educational workshops, reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks, and engaging with professional societies.
- Adhere to ISO procedures to ensure consistent and well-documented product releases.
