Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working hands-on with various tools and equipment? We are seeking a dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
salary: $16 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 6 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Measures with precision using a tape measure, operates a hand sander, utilizes a scraper, and conducts meticulous inspections to ensure proper deburring of metal.
Produces work that aligns with industry-specific standards and quality expectations.
Acquires expertise across diverse construction skills and applies them at multiple stages within the manufacturing process.
Thoroughly assesses products or work to validate compliance with specifications and maintains the high quality of output.
Conducts rigorous checks on machines and equipment to ensure they perform optimally and efficiently.
Adheres to well-established safety protocols and regulations while maintaining a secure and orderly workspace.
Physically demanding tasks involving the application of up to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of constant force for object manipulation.
Extended periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
Necessitates proficient manual dexterity, a strong sense of balance, and exceptional hand-eye coordination.
Frequent operation of machinery and/or power tools is expected, and the ability to work safely with sharp tools and power equipment is essential.
The work environment may expose the worker to various conditions, offering protection from weather elements but not necessarily from temperature fluctuations.
The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 100lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
