Sr. Accountant

An exciting opportunity is heading your way! We are looking for a Sr. Accountant with a stellar work ethic and a growth midset to join a major player in the construction industry. In this role you will assist the Controller in several key areas of the Accounting cycle. If you are piqued. please read on!

salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: AIA progress billing, managing lien releases, intercompany tie outs.
• Accounts Payable: Work within a PO System of checks and balances with job costing; Verify balances due against releasesprovided to expedite billing.
• Payroll entry and weekly processing for 100 employees
• Quarterly and Annual Payroll Reports - 940/941, SUTA, Fuel Rebate Filing
• Certified Payroll/Davis Bacon - Prevailing Wage Calculations
• Lien Releases, Mechanic’s Liens, Collections
• W-2’s
• 1099’s
• Job Costing/Fuel Usage Maintenance/Company Data Management
• General Ledger Reviews and assist in financial statement preparation
