A Structures Design Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Decatur, IL area. The Structures Design Engineer helps in current product maintenance including field problem resolution, factory efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and supplier deviation evaluation.

responsibilities:
- Creo 3D modeling and engineering.
- Drawing creation and detailing (lower frequency).
- Current product design modification and design.
- Manufacturing (factory and supplier) collaboration.
- Daily interaction with team leader, peer engineers, and extended engineering team.
- Ability to work in Creo.
- Heavy Structures design experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 5-7 years experience required.
