responsibilities:
- Schedule and expedite the delivery of purchased materials to support a production plan.
- Process suppliers' non-conformances and expedite corrective actions.
- Maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve performance.
- Execute inventory plans using systems parameters and material replenishment strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement with the supply base using Achieving Excellence processes and criteria.
- Execute logistics requirements for suppliers, including containers, packaging methods, and parameters.
- Work with Supply Management Specialist managing low-to-medium complex commodities and supply base.
- Resolve shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data entry and tracking.
- Experience using Power BI is a plus.
- strong communication skills for troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
- Supply Management background is highly desired.
