The Department is implementing new business enhancements as change requests to the ReEmploy system. The ReEmploy system is an integrated benefit and tax unemployment benefit system; that is determideterminesty for determines and disburses unemployment benefits to eligible claimants. In addition, the system also determines if an employer is liable for Unemployment Insurance tax, calculates their taxable rate, and bills them quarterly. We are making changes to the existing system. These are either federally-mandated, state-required, or business-driven improvements due to the extensive work that the unemployment program has been hit with due to the pandemic. They will be testing user test scripts written by SME staff that are part of the system support team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Determines time estimates and schedule for own work and resolves issues promptly.
- Identifies and tracks issues, risks, and action items.
- Reviews and understands the Test Team work plan.
- Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues and risks affecting own work and the work of the Test and Application Teams.
- Develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Researches problems before approaching the Team Lead or Test Team Lead for assistance.
- Assists or guides Testers as needed.
- Develops an understanding of system business requirements supported by the Test team
- Assists Application Teams in planning and executing component and assembly tests.
- Participates in assembly or product test execution as required.
- Assists in managing and directing Test Team processes.
- Defines product test plans and criteria for acceptance.
- Develops an understanding of system business requirements supported by the Test team
- Develops, updates, and maintains testing standards and procedures.
- Resolves testing process questions/issues.
- Assists in planning, creating and controlling test environments.
- Coordinates and executes assembly or product tests with the Test Team, Application Team, and Project Manager.
- Assists Team Lead or Test Team Lead in monitoring estimated time to complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks.
- Works with Test Team members to enhance their testing skills and build technical and business knowledge.
- Updates and tests release installation procedures.
- Aware of new developments in industry and processes and ability to apply to work as appropriate.
- Defines and utilizes entry/exit criteria for testing.
- Schedules the design of structured walk-throughs or inspections; resolves issues.
- Works with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Anticipates and resolves issues specific to the team.
