responsibilities:
- Integrate and test GMD products in Early Integration Labs.
- Assist in lab build-up and execution of GMD Lab integration for hardware and software upgrades.
- Develop and release Test Plans and Procedures for test execution.
- Provide integration and execution support to Early Integration Labs.
- Lead integration activities and System Under Test (SUT) implementation.
- Coordinate integration, test, checkout, and verification phases with various teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software anomalies in a fast-paced environment.
- Support the adjudication process for documented anomalies.
- Develop test procedures for critical software and hardware testing.
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines in a team environment.
- Provide direction and technical support to teams within the Engineering Function.
- Develop, review, and release post-test documentation.
- Support relevant meetings, reviews, briefings, and working groups.
- Work effectively in a rapid-paced team environment.
Experience:
- Collaborating with customers for test requirements and objectives.
- Integrating complex components into a system-level architecture.
- Documenting and troubleshooting hardware and software anomalies.
- Developing test procedures for critical testing.
- Working in a collaborative environment with different engineering disciplines.
- Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program experience.
- Government Contract Experience.
- System of Systems Integration experience.
- strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and solutions.
- Microsoft Project and Schedule software experience.
- Knowledge of Agile software development process.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor, Master, PhD) in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- Typically, 5 or more years of related work experience.
- ABET accreditation (preferred but not required in the USA).
