Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing parts, supplies, and equipment. Examines stock and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. Prepare kitting packages for assembly production. Lifts heavy items (10lbs-50lbs) and operates a forklift. The person will perform a variety of coordinating and routing, as well as material handling duties to meet production schedules. They will expedite parts to remedy shortage problems. Driving company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials within and outside the company. Maintain records on material flow. Ensure incoming materials are properly routed to the production floor. The person will help ensure the flow of materials and parts between departments to meet scheduled commitments. Must be able to multitask and function as a quick thinker with quality results.
