job summary:
We are looking for a Group Policy hands-on resource to implement CIS Level 1 group policies primarily for Windows 10 devices joined to the domain. The focus is security related and the resource needs to understand the implications of turning on/off policies, know which ones have gotchas, and recommend to stay away from. Resource should be able to implement Microsoft's CIS Level 1 template for Workstation GPOs using the published tool kit.
The person will be a Windows Server/AD engineer who knows how to implement Group Policies. We essentially have defaults so there is nothing to roll back.
Testing, implementing, and working with information security to ratify what works and what doesn't to get appropriate exceptions will be necessary. We will be there to supervise and coordinate.
