Working with moderate supervision, the Project Manager is responsible for management of all types of projects with individual project management emphasis small to medium sized business line projects. Additionally, the Project Manager should continually assess the business needs and solutions to ensure the project is managed in terms of scope, time, cost and quality. The Project Manager continues to evolve in the project management discipline and is gaining expertise in the organization. The role serves as the point of contact for all parties including the business lines, management, team members and third parties (vendors). The Project Manager needs to possess an evolving understanding of the businesses they support, at an industry and market level, allowing them to incorporate key elements into an initiative.
Facilitates and leads teams on the successful execution and implementation of projects. Promotes and advocates a collaborative team environment by coaching and mentoring colleagues focusing on leveraging colleague strengths.
Develops detailed project plans, as well as manage and transparently report on project status and ensures timely completion of special project assignments that vary in scope and level of responsibility while quickly adapting to changing requirements.
Oversees the ongoing review of project(s) status; identifies risks and developments, recommends, and implements solutions as appropriate.
Controls projects through the use of project plans and charters to adhere to the "triple constraints": Time (schedule), Resources (people and financial) and Scope.
Follows project management methodology which includes, but is not limited to: Requirements, Testing, Architecture and Design/Security review, Change Management and quality Production readiness/preparedness.
Methodically plans, analyzes, and schedules multiple interrelated tasks and / or initiatives based upon their value, scope, schedule and resource requirements.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues as needed.
Defines and oversees required research and analytical tasks to define project requirements, achieve project objectives, acquire data, and ensure high quality execution.
Analyzes requests for feasibility and cost benefit.
Facilitate, manage and participates in third party selection and review third party contracts in conjunction with legal counsel. Follows Third Party Management Process.
