What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk position at Rangam Consultants Inc.?
8 hours/day; 24 hours/week (available to work more if needed)
Daytime hours - 8:00am-4:30pm
Administrative Clerk
shift 8AM- 430PM (MON- FRI)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs clerical duties to include, data entry, organization and filing of confidential employee and/or departmental files.
- Prepares forms and reports according to written or verbal instructions.
- Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
- Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel and Word required
- Basic understanding of office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Education and Experience:
- High school graduate.
- 1 year of clerical work experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
