Cashier/Front of House

We are looking for 2-3 part-time, highly enthusiastic, ever smiling and happy go lucky front of house team members to join our team and become integral part and a face to our brand for the smooth operations of our modern Indian restaurant.

Rangeen meaning colorful in Hindi is a new and fresh take on Indian cuisine. India signifies different cultures, myriad food and flavor profiles, and fresh and colorful ingredients. California represents the same. People coming from all walks of life, food and flavors from everywhere across the world. We, at Rangeen, aim at combining the traditional dishes from India with a fresh Californian twist. Rangeen holds up to its name with its bright, colorful and casual yet elegant atmosphere. As a Front of House team member, you should:

· Be the face of Rangeen, meeting and greeting customers.

· Be responsible for taking orders at the POS and phone calls

· Managing service to the guests at the table

· Assist in packing orders for to-go

· Observe health and sanitation guidelines

· Bussing tables after guests leave

· Polishing silverware and making sure silverware is wrapped to be used for the diners and customers

· Making drinks at the back of the house

· Being agile enough to take ownership and responsibility of tasks assigned

· Be willing to take initiative, outspoken and very friendly. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY

· Be good at clear communication with customer and be a problem solver

Our Front of House Team Members need to:

· Have a positive attitude, enthusiastic and fun loving

· Stand and/or walk for an entire shift - From bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

· Work with a sense of urgency, and are able to multi task throughout their shift

· Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
