Release Manager

RCS is seeking an experienced Release Manager to communicate project-related tasks (e.g., plans, timelines, requirements, etc.) across the organization.  Will coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third-party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.  Additionally, will define and oversee the release management process, and determine release launch viability and timeline.

Required Qualifications:
 

• 5-8 years of experience as a project manager with responsibility for delivery under strict deadlines.

• Training in Agile software development. PMI PMO, Agile project manager, or SAFe certified agilest certifications preferred.

• Demonstrated experience with supporting software delivery in a Federal IT setting.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps delivery practices, especially the use of Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience using software requirements management tools such as Jira, or IBM’s Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) suite.

• Experience with Software Quality Assurance practices, testing, and defect resolution. 

• A high level of attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to coordinate tasks across multiple partner organizations.

• Active (MBI) clearance
