Job Overview:
Rapid Mortgage Capital Corp. is looking for experienced MLO's in the greater Sacramento area to work in office at our EDH corporate location. We are a growing direct lender licensed in 41 states with extremely competitive pricing, high tech efficient systems, and 2 week average close times for most transactions. This is an in office, high volume, high quality lead provided environment. We are not looking for rookies. We are going to invest 10's of thousands per month in leads just for you, so that you can close 15-20 loans per month or more. We offer a competitive tiered retroactive commission system based on units (not loan volume) with a base pay and full benefits. Must be licensed in at least 10 states, preferably more. It is fine to add more if you do not have this many and this can be done quickly. We have a high quality lead source that provides primarily live transfers and are currently averaging an 8% conversion of calls to closed loans. With recent technology optimization we have made in our customized Sales Force-Encompass linked system, we expect to see 10% or higher conversion. We typically price .25%-.5% lower than our competitors in rate, making it easy to win deals with new leads. Self Generated loans brought in from your personal network can be paid at a higher split which is negotiable. Self generated loans count towards total units to help push you into higher commission tiers as well. We expect to be a major player on the scene in the years to come. Duties:
-Take incoming leads and live calls/transfers, quote rates from our pricing engine, and ask the client to apply every time.
-Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers
- Interview clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation
- Analyze credit reports, income statements, and other financial documents to assess loan viability
- Advise clients on loan options and guide them through the application process
- Collaborate with processors and underwriters to ensure loan applications meet lending criteria
- Negotiate loan terms and conditions with clients, including interest rates and repayment schedules
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in lending practices
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the financial industry
- Strong knowledge of loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and mortgage servicing practices
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and perform credit analysis
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
