Job Posting for Rafting Guide - Colorado River at Rapid Transit Rafting
Be a rafting guide on the beautiful Upper Colorado River this summer! Rapid Transit Rafting is looking for raft guides to join our staff for the 2024 river season.
Rapid Transit Rafting is based out of Estes Park, CO, but we transport the customers to the river where they meet the guides and go rafting.
We raft a 12 mile scenic stretch of the Upper Colorado not far from Vail, Eagle, Edwards, or Kremmling, CO. Guides will take customers on our full-day trip on the Colorado that goes through some of the river's most scenic canyons. Trips usually run about 4-5 hours on the water with a stop for lunch. Lunch is included for all guides as well!
Guides will be hired on a part time or full-time basis. Experience preferred, but we provide training as well. Inexperienced guides will need to be available for 2 weeks of on river training that begins in mid-late May.
Our commercial rafting season runs early June through end of August. July is the busiest time, so any hires will need to be available for work in July.
Must be a fun, outdoor loving individual who is great with people. Many of our customers say this trip is the highlight of their vacation and it's our guides that make this happen!
