Accountant

RapidCare Emergency Room is looking for an individual with experience in Accounting to be a part of our team!

What You Will Do: Work closely with the Director of Operations to gather and provide information on hours worked, associated costs, etc.

• Familiar with financial reports, such as balance sheet and income statements.
• Matching accounts payable invoices with receivers and purchase orders.
• Accounts payable month-end process year-end 1099 process.
• Assist with annual agency audit preparation and required state and federal pay data reporting.
• Analyze and report on monthly time and labor transactions as required by contract and legislative requirements.
• Month end payroll general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly expense reports.
• Regularly review and assess documented payroll policy and processes to make recommendations to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Manage payroll change requests and maintain position number and job cost accounting procedures.
• Review bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monthly working capital cost allocation.

Accounting Manager - Minimum Qualifications:

• A college degree in business management, accounting or related field.
• Accounting background.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong knowledge of computer use.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities to meet high volume of work on deadlines.
• Excellent time management, organizational and follow-through skills.
• Creative outlook with problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Ability to respond accurately and quickly to executive inquiries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
