Medical Surgical RN| New York | Paya $82 Per Hour
Job Description:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Records patients’ medical information and vital signs
- Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients
- Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by physician
- Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury, by explaining: post-treatment home care needs
- Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs
- Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patient
- Participates in discharge planning
Requirements:
- NY license required at this time
- COVID VACCINATION REQUIRED booster
- Current BLS
- 8 weeks minimum, 13 weeks preferred - 48 hour guarantee
- SHIFT: 7p-7:30a
Benefits:
- Housing $85/day
- Per Diem: $35/day
- Travel: $800 round trip upon successful completion of contract
