1. Ensure Crew Members understand and follow company policies, procedures, and work standards.
2. Act as a resource and liaison to Rapoza clients while at the job site.
3. Provide on-the-job training to new and current Crew Members and Crew Leaders in Training.
4. Coordinate all work activities at the job site with respect to timeframe, safety, and skills and capabilities of individual Crew Members.
5. Monitor quality of all work performed by the crew and provide guidance and correction as necessary.
6. Communicate problems, client concerns, associate matters, etc. to the Production Manager in a timely manner.
7. Reads landscape blueprints, reviews plan with designer, implements the landscape construction plan.
8. Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment.
9. Operates basic stick-shift vehicles, such as dump trucks and bobcats (with various attachments).
10. Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available.
11. Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the construction plan.
12. Completes the necessary paperwork, including timesheets, work orders, change orders, material requisitions, and customer tickets.
13. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
14. Briefs managers and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or customer concerns.
15. Possesses a working knowledge of service-related activities.
16. Possesses a working knowledge of the use of and variety of chemicals.
17. Works as a member of a team.
· This position requires a high school degree or GED, plus three year’s experience in a landscaping or hardscaping field plus one year of experience as a team leader in training.
· Candidate must have a working knowledge of standard construction practices, horticultural practices, a basic understanding of electricity, and basic piping and plumbing concepts.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must.
This position requires that the individual be certified and licensed as follows:
· MCLP, MCH, ISA, ICPI, or equivalent.
A valid driver's license is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; crouch; stoop or kneel; reach with hands and arms; talk; and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job are dictated by the Massachusetts Driver’s License requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), and moving mechanical equipment.
In addition, job sites are located on both residential and commercial property. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to the homeowner’s pets.
The employee will work closely with the production managers, salespersons, designers, department heads, other team leaders, and clients.
