ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uses the tools and utilities supplied to develop, test and implement new computer programs
- Plans and executes testing to ensure the program meets the specified requirements
- Works with users to capture system requirements
- Designs new systems that may be complex and cross platforms
- Investigates innovative technologies and new techniques
- Analyze existing program logic and design enhancements based on correction and/or modification requirements
- Assuring quality, security and compliance requirements are always met
- Analyze user requests for enhancements to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities
- Help users to solve operating problems and provide technical assistance to program users
- Other duties as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
· At least 4 years of RPG (II, III, 400, ILE, ) programming, SQL, preferably for iSeries
· At least 4 years of CLP, CLE, DDS (PF, LF, JLF, DSPF) and Subfile programming
· Associates Degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or 5 years of equivalent work experience
· At least 2 years programming in BPCS ERP application or other ERP application Native to iSeries (AS400).
Required Skills and Abilities
- Good analysis skills to review existing RPG/CL programs
- At least 2 years programming in BPCS ERP application or other ERP application Native to iSeries (AS400).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, , executive, management, individual contributors

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
