Inspector
Job Posting for Inspector at Rasmussen Trucking, Inc.
Rasmussen Trucking & Service Center is looking for a Tank Inspector to inspect propane / gasoline tankers and perform maintenance and repair work on all types of tankers / propane bottles.
- This is family owned and operated company and you will be working in a small group of 1-2 mechanics.
- We are looking for someone with dedication to his job and they can work independently to accomplish the timeline of goals.
- Require previous work experience with Semi Truck / Diesel repair for at least 2 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Inspect, repair and load propane and gasoline bottles
- perform 5 year VK testing
- Perform annual DOT inspection on propane and gasoline bottles
- Scrape and paint tanks as needed
- Handle and maintain flow of materials and products under safety guidelines
- Maintain Inspection Center office and shop for a professional and tidy appearance
- During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquires
- Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50lbs. (assistance with heavier items will be provided.)
- Ability to work from a platform up to 15 feet high.
- Must be able to work in all types of environment including, heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.
- Must have safety shoes or boots with a minimum of safety toe and slip resistant.
