Job Description: RateTag Online, Inc. (www.ratetag.com) offers high-performance e-Commerce platform to companies interested in online sales. Our platform has great features and USPs that make it fun to propose, sell and support to customers in e-Commerce Retail/Distribution/Marketplace space. We offer our platform in both on-premise and cloud editions along with an elaborate suite of implementation service to meet customers' needs.

We are setting up ourselves in USA. You will be an early member of our team if we agree to work together. We are open to full-time, part-time or success-based engagement with you.

We are looking for experienced and highly networked Software Sales Executive who has a proven track record of selling e-Commerce software products and allied solutions in American market. Someone having an experience of selling solutions around Magento, Hybris, ATG, BigCommerce or similar products should be a good fit.

  • This opportunity is in a software product company. We are not an e-Commerce venture.
  • The work requires the candidate to operate as an independent contributor
  • The work may require moderate levels of travel within USA

As an e-Commerce Solutions Sales Specialist, this position requires you to perform these roles:

  • Individually create a pipleline of prospective customers for our product & services
  • Develop a local network of business partner; work with them to grow pipeline
  • Interact with prospective customers, understand their requirements, analyze fitment of our product and propose a solution with help of other team members
  • Manage entire process of sales - from prospecting to closure/follow-up
  • Use a modern reporting and tracking tool to manage sales pipleline
  • Collect market feedback, intelligence and contribute it back to our product development pipeline
  • Manage client relationships
  • Manage both internal and external sales
  • Build and own a revenue target

This role requires you to have intricate knowledge of e-Commerce industy, especially:

  • You must have sold e-Commerce solutions in the past
  • You must have knowledge of best e-Commerce products in market and their latest moves
  • You must be highly networked to prospect customers and create a pipeline

The company will prefer candidates who have been in one or more of following situtations:

  • Been part of an existing e-Commerce product company
  • Been part of an existing IT Services company with a strong client base in e-Commerce
  • Has a pleasing personality and very good communication and presentation skills
  • Is hard working, flexible with time, loves to travel and is passionate about e-Commerce

This role may also require occasional international travel for work. Also requires you to evangelize, attend/conduct conferences etc. May also require you to work in different time-zones to attend client conference calls or sales meetings.
