Tasting Room Host

Position Summary: Rava is currently seeking a hosting and guest services specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests visiting our winery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests to the winery, provide a brief introduction to our offerings and services, and ensure they are comfortable and happy throughout their visit
• Coordinating and leading tours of the winery and vineyards, educating guests on the winemaking process, the history of our winery and the surrounding area
• Manage reservations of the winery's tasting room and handle event inquiries and bookings
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints presented by guests in a timely and appropriate manner
• Ensure that the winery is always presented in a clean and tidy manner, and maintain a consistent level of service excellence in all areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, winemaking or a related field an asset but not required
• Strong knowledge of wine and wine-making processes, preferably with experience working in the wine industry
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience in the service or hospitality industry preferred

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
