Job Posting for Sales Account Executive, Higher Education at Rave Mobile Safety

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Account Executive with experience selling into the Higher Education market to manage the development and revenue growth in various territories across the United States. You will be accountable for and compensated on quarterly revenue/booking targets. Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities in the higher ed sector
Manage entire sales process, from qualification to close
Establish strong relationships with strategic contacts within your territory to retain and grow existing revenue and identify, propose and close new opportunities
Ensure prospects and clients have up-to-date knowledge of new products, features and any other updates
Develop and maintain strong working relationships across internal and external team
Develop and manage a sales forecast & pipeline in order to exceed annual quotas and goals
Actively manage daily responsibilities to develop one’s territory such as cold calls, appointments, sales presentations, and proposals while demonstrating excellent time management skills
Who you are:
3-5 years of quota carrying software sales experience
History of sales into Higher Education
Experience creating quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans
Excellent oral and written communication skills
About 10-15% domestic travel
Formal sales training program (Sandler, Miller Heiman, SPIN selling, etc.)
Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, and Web Demonstration tools
Self-run demos
Proven history of strong outbound prospecting ability
Public speaking experience
