Description
We are currently seeking a CAD Drafter to join our team. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design software. You will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and precise drawings are produced.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on given specifications and requirements.
- Modify existing drawings and plans as requested by engineers and architects.
- Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and measurements for drawings.
- Review and check drawings for errors and inconsistencies.
- Maintain and update drawing files and databases.
- 2 years of AutoCAD drafting experience preferred
- Familiarity with glazing systems: aluminum storefront, curtain wall, windows, and various other systems, and the processes to fabricate and install.
- Can read (and understand) architectural drawings, structural drawings, & project specifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
