What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Aide position at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District?
RCS announces vacancies for full-time (10-month school schedule) Building Aides. Building Aides assist in the daily operation of the school through non-teaching duties. The duties and responsibilities to be assumed by Teacher Aides shall be outlined by the Superintendent in accordance with Civil Service guidelines. Teacher Aides shall be responsible to the Building Principal/designee. A Teacher Aide may be assigned to assist teachers in such non-teaching duties as managing records, materials and equipment; attending to the physical needs of children; assist with student personal care and hygiene as needed, and supervising students and performing such other services as support teaching duties when such services are determined and supervised by a teacher. May also include breakfast, cafeteria/recess duties, bus dismissal, office duties. TCI Training preferred but not required.

Requirements:
Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and a desire to work with kids are encouraged to apply. Preferred candidates will have experience working with Special Education students.
