Primary Responsibilities:
* Responsible for maintaining hardware, software inventory, phone systems, setting up workstations and installing software.
* Assist the IT department with the maintenance of computers and troubleshooting minor network and application problems.
Essential Job Duties
* Install, support, and maintain computer desktops, laptops, printers and any related hardware and software.
* Provide technical support to end users for a variety of IT issues, including software, network, phone system.
* Respond in a timely manner to all phone calls, voicemails, emails, and on-site requests for technical support.
* Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
* Maintain physical inventory of IT hardware & software.
* Accept and respond in a timely manner to helpdesk tickets.
* Advise and assist in establishing company information technology policies and procedures.
* Develop procedural documentation and training materials.
* Miscellaneous tasks and special projects as assigned.
* Participate in on call duty as required.

Equipment/Tools
* Standard computer hardware/software, small hand tools, computer related office equipment, patch panels, wired and wireless networking equipment and related phone system equipment.
Qualifications:
* Associate degree in Computer Science or related discipline and 2 years related experience.
* Strong hands-on hardware skills.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to handle multiple project responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
* Have a basic understanding of LAN and WAN principals.
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities and thrive in environments with rapid changes.
* Work with a diverse group of people with varying degrees of technical abilities with a helpful, friendly demeanor.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of our IT team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
