Ravinia, North America's oldest music festival, stands today as its most musically diverse, presenting over 140 different events throughout the summer. These concerts run the gambit from Yo-Yo Ma to John Legend to the annual summer residency of the nation's finest orchestra, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
The 36-acre park is nestled in a gently wooded area that makes it an enchanting place to experience music. Guests can bring their own picnics or eat at one of the park restaurants.

Are you a music enthusiast with leadership skills? If so, we're looking for a Supervisor to join our team at the Ravinia Music Box, where music's history and inspirational power come to life!
In this role, you'll learn how to do basic troubleshooting of the experience, manage a team of 4 to 6 people, and communicate with staff and patrons at all times, answering any questions that may arise during the shift.
General Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, you'll:
- lead and support your team to ensure that they provide excellent customer service and hospitality to our visitors
- be responsible for keeping the exhibit and the show from damage and for closing and shutting down the building at the end of each shift.
- make sure that foot traffic in the building is constantly being monitored to ensure that we don't go over capacity for any showing.
- submit a nightly summary of attendance along with any issues that arose during your shift.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong ability to lead and manage a team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues. You must be able to stay calm under pressure and effectively handle any challenges that arise. You'll also need to be available for evening hours on weekdays and weekends, as our season runs from early June through mid-September.
