Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking full-time permanent Heavy Equipment Operators to join its vibrant team. Successful candidates will reflect Ray-Mont’s core values: Quality, Flexibility and Innovation.
Schedule: Day shift, 4 on 4 off, with schedules from 5am-5pm.
Tasks:
- Liaise with previous shift’s operator regarding operation of container lift.
- Fill out Pre-shift Top-Pick Inspection Form.
- Confirm radio reliability
- Verify production priorities with shift supervisor.
- Verify shipping priorities (late gates) with shift supervisor and/or dispatch.
- Verify shipping priorities with shift supervisor and/or dispatch.
- Work with various loading stations to provide empty equipment for loading onto hostlers.
- Offload loaded containers to appropriate designated locations from hostlers.
- Offload and load empty or loaded containers from Port Trucks.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating loaded container handlers or similar machinery;
- First-class manual abilities;
- Good knowledge of computers;
- Great learning skills and operational intelligence;
- Exemplary attitude and willingness to move forward career wise;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Capability to work under pressure;
- Team player;
- Self Starter, ability to work autonomously as needed.
