Duties
The Full Time Dental Laboratory Manager performs various administrative, management and technical tasks at the dental laboratory. As our Dental Laboratory Manager, your duties will involve:
Being primary point of contact for doctors to communicate with the lab
Coordinating and communicating daily with our dental technicians to allow for the ideal flow of cases in and out of the lab.
Managing the influx and outflux of dental cases.
Equipment cleaning/maintenance.
Inspecting incoming cases for accuracy or quality.
Tracking the lab cases throughout the digital workflow.
Learning and performing laboratory duties such as
designing dental cases
Sintering, staining and glazing fixed dental restorations
Pouring and trimming models
Management for the 3D printing ecosystem
Fabricating retainers and night guards
Fabrication of wax rims, custom trays and dentures
Maintaining computer system records
Manage the hardware and software used in the dental laboratory
Handling technical support and maintenance issues
Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a dental laboratory manager requires a high level of emotional intelligence and self awareness, leadership skills, physical stamina, computer skills, manual dexterity and the ability to lift thirty pounds. Additional qualifications include technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma
Excited to learn and interested in training to become the best dental lab manager possible
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer software.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to manage multiple systems throughout the day
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Dental lab experience is mandatory.
Schedule
Monday-Thursdays : 7:00am - 4:00pm
Fridays: 7:00am - 2:00pm
Salary
$60,000 - $100,000 annual salary based on experience.
