Raycap, Inc. has an opening for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Operations Financial Analyst to join our accounting team in Charleston, SC.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Initiate and monitor physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, investigate variances, and resolve issues.
- Perform accounting, analysis & reporting of manufacturing costs, including materials, labor, overhead, & freight.
- Compare actual costs to estimates and work with other departments on determining causes & corrective actions.
- Investigate inventory counting variances and resolve issues.
- Reporting & analysis of inventory turnover, including highlight of slow moving, non-conforming & obsolete parts.
- Fixed asset accounting, including physical counts & tracking asset utilization.
- Provide back-up & support for other accounting functions as needed, including special projects as assigned.
- Assist in developing continuous monitoring programs for key business areas using data analysis
- Support internal and external audit requests during annual and interim audits
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Able to build and manage collaborative relationships with a variety of people
