What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Raycap Inc?
The Project Manager is an extension of the sales team, responsible for the continuous management of projects and revenue growth, based in our Charleston, SC manufacturing facility. This position works directly in sales initiatives to ensure on time deliverables of projects supporting telecommunications small cell infrastructure for 5G and future technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related fields, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering is considered a plus
- Sales experience in changing/complex sales cycles and project deliverables
- ISO 9001 experience with process documentation and system audits
- Proficient with Excel and Sharepoint; Smartsheet a plus.
- Relevant industry experience managing projects in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Ability to read and interpret general 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation
- Adaptable to fast paced, high volume of design projects
- Travel may be required for specific projects
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Works directly with customer to ensure all pertinent information is received for project deliverables and other sales related topics
- Identifies and explores opportunities for additional revenue
- Monitor production capacity constraints and alerts necessary team members to issues
- Collaborates directly with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to continuously improve scheduling and planning processes.
- Manages budgetary reviews and document overages on active and closed projects
- Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
- ISO 9001 experience with process documentation and system audits
- Works with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety committee to ensure and maintain compliance with safety operational, and regulatory standards
