FP&A Analyst (Remote)

The Space ISR (SISR) finance team has an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. SISR is a part of the Space & C2 Systems (SC2) Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S). The SISR portfolio consists of primarily development programs with annual revenue of $1.7B. This opportunity will strengthen business results and provide exposure to all levels of SISR leadership. The effective candidate will be a strategic business partner, requiring clear communication, cross-functional relationships and collaboration to ensure the accuracy of our financial forecasting. This includes successful implementation of monthly financial close and consolidation, Investment Reviews, Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Planning, forecasting, analysis, and recommendations to support leadership decisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and make recommendations for financial forecasts and outlooks

• Develop and manage monthly forecasts and prepare management for monthly operating reviews, financial presentations and other reporting activities as required

• Continuously look for improvements to monthly forecasting accuracy and process

• Interface with SC2 FP&A and accounting to support the monthly close and ensure accurate revenue recognition

• Develop yearly NBI requirements and management of NBI budgets

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis

Required Skills:

• Typically 2 years of Finance experience related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization

• Previous FP&A or Financial Analyst experience

• Effectively communicates with parties within and outside of own team

• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to flexibly work in a dynamic and changing environment while managing multiple priorities

• Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines

• Self-guided and self-motivated

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex data to a diverse audience

Desired Skills:

• Active Security Clearance

• Previous DOD / Aerospace experience

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP APEX, Rplan, BW

Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business related field
