HybridRaytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to support programs as a production lead MPM with content built in the Advanced Products Center (APC) factory in McKinney, TX. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership as the material focal for the program, directly accountable for ensuring overall supply chain performance. This individual must be able to exert influence and have an effect on the overall objectives and long-range goals and metrics of the program. The MPM must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and supplier management.
The MPM will serve as the lead for material content for assigned program supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), IPT’s, and the Supply Chain organization. The MPM is also responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of the material program strategy and/or plan, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives. This individual will work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create common schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Responsibilities span from the front end of the business Supply Chain activities through contract closure.
This role requires material forecasting and financial reporting knowledge and will be responsible for managing sales risks, opportunities and reporting out to leadership and program IPT weekly.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to lead efforts, and address issues and conflict resolution. The MPM will have the ability to balance between leading and implementing strategy for the program while also executing tactical activities.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing material risks and opportunities, reporting at both Customer and APC program level
- Developing and executing supply chain strategies and plans
- Having overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
- Developing and executing risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives
- Developing and tracking budgets, targets, initiating and maintaining accurate sales forecasts, short-range outlooks (SRO), material EACs, sales and operating Plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
- Acting as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material and SCM Labor
- Flowing down Supplier Management Best Practices to suppliers which include risk mitigation and subcontract management plans
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management
- Experience with supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and finance
- Experience in material pricing/estimating and proposals
- Experience in managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget
- Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
- Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Able to coordinate strategies and manage tactical execution
- Advanced problem-solving experience
- Strong leadership ability
Education:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen as the position will require the ability to access U.S. only Data Systems.
