Job Summary:

An excellent on site opportunity exists within the Naval Power Estimating and Pricing organization as a Senior Proposal Analyst. The estimating organization is responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts. In addition, the estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer. This role requires the ability to obtain program specific clearance(s), and perform work on-site at Raytheon facilities.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Be responsible for the development, analysis, and completion of proposals
• Work with other functions from across the company to understand the labor, material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
• Develop detailed Request for Estimates which are used to kick off proposals
• Lead the development of Basis of Estimates to include tracking progress, validating and analyzing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound
• Prepare and present Gate 4 charts for program/company leadership review of proposal information
• Ensure proposals comply with FAR and internal requirements
• Assess and formulate potential solutions leading to a thorough proposal submittal
• Interface and coordinate with all levels of management within the program
• Perform detailed and complex tests of inputs to ensure soundness in our estimates

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree required with strong preference for Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related/applicable field and 2 years of Estimating and/or Finance experience or a Masters’ Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
