Job Title: Physical Therapy AssistantJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide rehabilitation services to patients. This individual will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and educating patients on exercises and techniques to improve their physical function and mobility.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist.2. Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients in accordance with the treatment plan.3. Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.4. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises to improve their strength and mobility.5. Assist in the maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.6. Communicate with the physical therapist and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.7. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process.Qualifications and Skills:1. Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.2. Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.4. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.5. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation techniques.6. Ability to lift and move patients with physical limitations.7. CPR certification.8. Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment plans.9.
