Company Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and experienced Integration Architect who is passionate about innovation for our National Integration Services (NIS) team. Our team is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (FRBSF), which has partnered with National IT (NIT) to operate NIS on NIT’s behalf. In this role you will help FRS development teams adopt and implement API architectures and solutions within an AWS and MuleSoft Enterprise API context. This role revolves around architecting solutions, and not simply an API developer position. You will be responsible for providing technology leadership and oversight of the product portfolio. The portfolio may consist of multiple, multi-functional projects of varying complexities, in support of strategic business initiatives and regulatory requirements. We are an “intrapreneurial” team; we strive to move fast while operating within a large and complex enterprise organization. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with other teams including, but not limited to Business (LOBs), Enterprise Information Security, IT Delivery, Domain Architects, Risk, Operations, Corporate Function etc. for coordination on programs and product. Facilitate organizational change by helping define strategy with respect to technology standards, industry models and design goals; evaluate business requirements in the early stages of projects to determine what software, integration technologies, system architectures and patterns should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently; participate in the development of roadmaps, which include product selection, implementations, data migrations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. Develop and implement solutions that deliver capabilities to the business and the Bank; Considers all technology alternatives for solutions. Analyze Bank’s business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements. Develop the solutions viewpoint, in which the business, information and technology viewpoints are synthesized into solutions that deliver capabilities to the Bank. Collaborate with other IT teams to evaluate/prototype solutions and gain consensus on technical solutions. Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture. Coordinate solution architecture implementation and modification activities. Research, design, test, and evaluate new technologies, platforms and strategic partner’s products/services. Meet with IT teams to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements. Partner with other functions across IT (PM, BA, EA, Security, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality and timeliness of solution. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field or equivalent experience. Typically requires five or more years with all aspects of a project from architecture and design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry, with a concentration on AWS Cloud. Working knowledge of more than one design method and at least one subject area that is considered to be at the level of domain expert. Ability to produce professional-level presentations, documentation, and architectural diagrams, articulated at the appropriate levels for executives, managers, and peers.
