Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced tool makers in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of various tools, dies, and molds used in manufacturing processes

  • Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

  • Develop proficiency in metal cutting, grinding, polishing, and finishing techniques

  • Participate in the troubleshooting and problem-solving of tool-related issues

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Train to set-up and program CNC Mill and Lathes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Willingness to learn and work in a team environment

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping

**Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Pay Range: $18 to $22/hour
