Job Description:
RBM Partners is seeking an experienced Service Technician that is responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our multifamily real estate assets.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Service Manager with higher level maintenance items involving plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks.
- Complete maintenance work orders and make ready tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.
- Participate in preventative maintenance plans for the community.
- Participate in the turn process for the market rate apartments.
- Complete work orders for both the market rate and commercial tenants.
- Communicate with Community Manager and Service Manager daily and report deficiencies with the asset, resident issues and propose action to repair/correct.
- Follow policies and procedures for managing shop inventory efficiently as directed by the Community Manager and Service Manager.
- Perform grounds maintenance, assist with trash removal and participate in property inspections on a daily basis and as directed by the Service Manager or Community Manager.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both residents and team members.
- Will participate in the on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in the multifamily industry
- HVAC certification would be preferred
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
