Customer Service

RC Furniture, a high-end furniture manufacturer in the City of Industry, has one full time position available for a Customer Service Representative. This position requires an experienced, organized and confident worker with a stable and verifiable work history. Must have excellent social skills and be very friendly and outgoing. The salary will depend on your experience. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanishpreferred. Medical, Dental and Vacation benefits are available after 90 days of employment. We are located off the 60 Freeway between the 605 and 57 Freeways.

The Customer Service Representative will handle customer complaints, returns, repairs, process orders, and provide information about RC's products.

Duties

· Handles ALL customers’ questions and concerns, and provide answers or responses

· Provide information about products

· Review or make changes to customer accounts

· Handles returns, complaints, repairs, notifies customers of late deliveries

· Record details of customer contacts and actions taken

· Interact with office and production area to obtain needed information, including cross train on other desks

· Identify customer needs and handle requests during the call or determine if the call needs to be transferred or escalated. Follow up on escalated calls to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Perform related or other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1 years’ experience in a customer service related position.
• High School Diploma required; college preferred
• Effective customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Enjoy working with people in a customer service capacity.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor even when faced with adversity.
• Ability to function independently without supervision.
• Detail oriented.
• Handle high volumes of calls and emails with accuracy.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, MS Excel and MS Word.
• Well organized, effective time management; able to prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency.
• Strong Team Player.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Effective problem solving skills.
• Strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
