Sub-Assembly Technician

RC Mowers in Suamico, WI is looking for a Subassembly Technician to help build the components that go into our bad-ass remote-operated robotic mowers.

THE JOB

As a Subassembly Technician, you are involved in a variety of detailed assembly builds from electrical actuators assemblies, wiring, winches, fuel tanks, and more. You will work on small and medium sized mechanical assemblies either standing or seated as you prefer. Most of the work is light fabrication using basic hand and power tools. We will train you in most aspects of the assembly operations, so you won't be stuck doing just one thing. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Mechanical assembly and light fabrication tasks.
• Calibrating, testing, and preparing accessory products for shipping.
• Fuel system assembly.
• Basic electrical wiring
• Organizing and maintaining tools, inventory, and facilities
• Participating in continuous improvement ideas.
• Any other duties as requested by management from time to time.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical schooling helpful
• Some exposure to assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Exhibit attention to detail, and follow manufacturing work instructions
• Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
• Valid drivers license

This full-time position is hourly, 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts Monday to Thursday, with most Fridays off. Benefits include paid vacation/sick leave, health/dental/vision insurance, 401k matching retirement plan, life/accident insurance.

We are located near the intersection of Hwy 41 and Lineville Road in Suamico, just a few minutes north of Green Bay.

Pay: $17.65 - $23.15 per hour
