ABOUT THE POSITION:
We are now pleased to offer a sign-on bonus up to $4,000 for new hires. The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
- Working closely with others in a fast paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager
- Accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
- Handles physician orders, administers medications, collect and maintain resident data, take vitals, assist with resident comfort
- Assure proper procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manor
Qualifications:
- Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
- Degree from accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
- Current CPR certification required
- Education or experience in long term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution
- Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
- Strong customer service skills and compassion
