What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Assembly III position at RCL Components?
Properly assemble equipment according to procedures. Organize components and subassemblies needed during the assembly process. Identify parts shortages prior to critical impact. Provide leadership and guidance to Level I and Level II personnel in area of responsibility.
General Job Requirement:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Math and English skills
- Personal transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift minimum 50lbs from floor to over head level
- Able to stand to perform necessary tasks for extended period of time.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis; extra hours during the week, Saturdays, occasional Sundays and Holidays
- Track record of adhering to attendance requirements
Level III Specific Job Requirements and Skills:
- Two years of field specific or vocational education
- All Level I & II specific requirements and skills
- Correctly read blueprints, drawings, schematics needed to complete a piece of equipment without assistance.
- Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Demonstrated ability to teach others
- Effectively and clearly communicates instructions to co-workers
- Continuously seeks methods to reduce labor hours
- Manage time and people effectively and prioritize completing task to meet deadline
- Demonstrates persistence and strives to improve skills and achieve goals despite setbacks and obstacles.
- Own minimum & additional set of tools required for job performance, locking tool box
