The Position

RCL Mechanical is seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing services. As a crucial member of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of equipment, tools, and materials to job sites while maintaining the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Transport HVAC and plumbing materials, equipment, and tools to various residential and commercial job sites.
• Ensure the secure loading and unloading of items, preventing damage during transit.
• Assist in loading and unloading HVAC and plumbing equipment and materials at job sites.
• Work closely with on-site teams to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.
• Maintain open communication with dispatch and project managers.
• Provide updates on delivery schedules and potential delays.
• Act as a liaison between the company and clients, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures.
• Ensure all required paperwork, such as delivery notes and invoices, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues promptly.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine service and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles.
• Support Warehouse Manager with any other tasks/duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
  

Preferred Skills

• Carpentry/trade/mechanical skills 
• Proficient in office software (Word, Excel, Google Drive, etc.)
• Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing materials and equipment.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
