What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at RCM Health Care Services?

Responsibilities

  • Collecting information from the patients to be admitted; medical records, insurance details
  • Assists the Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Recording health details of patients; including vitals & temperature
  • Helps the patient prepare for medical examinations and takes test samples from patients
  • Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed
  • May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
  • Administering medications and injections to patients as needed
  • Helps patients get dressed & take care of personal hygiene
  • Monitors patients' food and liquid intake and output

Qualifications

  • Current NY Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
  • Current full medical including Covid vaccine
  • One year prior Long Term Care (LTC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
  • Current BLS card
